3/4 Umatic & Foreign Tapes
Everyone's had it happen. You're watching the video you took of your little girl's recital or your parents' anniversary party and you hear the unmistakable, heartbreaking sound of your VCR eating your tape, destroying the only copy of that one important event. Before that happens and your special events are lost forever, bring them in to us and we'll capture them forever on to durable DVDs that never degrade or fade with time.
Tapes are captured in real time, there is no quick process to capture your video images.
If your tape is six hours long it takes six hours to capture the material. VHS tapes can be recorded in 3 speed modes - SP, LP, EP - 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours. VHS-C 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 90 minutes. 8mm - 2 hours or 4 hours. DV - 1 hour or 90 minutes. Beta - 2 hours or 3 hours. Umatic - 1 hour.
DVDs can hold two hours, our charges are based on time and not per tape. If 3 of your tapes fit on the DVD it is still the same price. There are no charges for tape repairs.
Each DVD will come in a personalized DVD case with disc label per your instructions. Pictures will be on cover and disc label. DVD-Video can be played on computer or stand alone DVD player.
Your video tape material is transferred direct to the DVD. The transfer process is monitored
so your material fills the DVD. No editing or clean up is done.
